About Kaitlyn

Dr. Kaitlyn Goldsmith holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and is a Registered Psychologist in the province of B.C. She is currently a faculty member in the Department of Psychology at the University of British Columbia, teaching Human Sexuality.

She has a generalist clinical background, which has included working with individuals with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, chronic pain conditions, and women's health concerns including peripartum mental health and female sexual dysfunction. 

In her current clinical practice, she works at Vancouver General Hospital at the Women's Clinic with women experiencing sexual pain and also works with individuals recovering from reproductive cancer through the Reproductive Oncology Supportive Care Program.

She also works with clients with general mental health concerns as well as clients with sexual difficulties in her private practice in Vancouver and Abbotsford. Dr. Goldsmith has published several scholarly articles and book chapters in the area of women's sexual health and well-being, and has been featured in several well-known publications such as Glamour and Cosmopolitan magazines.

Kaitlyn loves to travel and has visited 34 countries. Her favorite country is Italy and she has visited 5 times - gorgeous scenery and pasta, nothing to complain about here!

Kaitlyn has lived outside of B.C. for a total of five years to complete her training as a clinical psychologist. This has included living in the maritimes and the prairies.

Kaitlyn loves to read and aims to read about one book per week, or 52 books per year. One year, she reached her goal of reading her height in books, which was 67 books!
